_DSC6288A few days ago a joint meeting and discussion was held among the students at the Master’s Program of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Finance – a joint product of the Higher School of Insurance and Finance (HSIF) and The Business Institute and Lubomir Lekov – the founder of one of the most successful media groups in Bulgaria. The meeting is the follow up step of the Scholarship Program Lekov, in which 5 students have received scholarships for their education at the Master’s Program and personal engagement by Lubomir Lekov for mentorship for the period of their education. The mission of S.K.I.L.L.S. Project is to encourage young entrepreneurs by sharing experience and knowledge. The key word in the Program is Sharing. The topic of the first meeting at SKILLS project, which also was the subject of the mentorship meeting in March at Master’s Program of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Finance, was “Why do I want to open my own company or have my own product?”

On the way of developing your own business there are obstacles, one should be aware of. Being successful on their journey towards the success, the founders of Lekovi Foundation are eager to share all details of great importance for the success. “Having a good idea is not enough.” – Lubomir Lekov introduced the audience to the topic. “The entrepreneur must have the abilities of a good trader, as well as a good leader.” – he said in addition.

The students followed the discussion with conversations about the way of finding what you like doing the most, turning your hobby into business and visualizing your idea at every step of its development. The guest shared among the new entrepreneurs the importance of having strong focus on your idea, to imagine its development. He revealed how significant for his development a book of Napoleon Hill “Think and go rich” was; he recommended to the students both this one and the Coveys’ Principles for Success.

It is of great importance to the lecturer himself to share his knowledge, because, said in his own words, “You best learn while teaching others.” It is key if the ethical entrepreneurship idea is shared and this depends on the level of trust. А high level of trust increases the speed of the business and decreases the expenses. The best way to express your voice is by helping others to express theirs.

This is the main reason for the value of the recommendations of Lekov how to choose the right people in creating the business. “Speaking of entrepreneurship the environment is critical” – shared Lekov. Every entrepreneur needs the corresponding environment – tolerant and stimulating his ideas and dreams. In order to have a long term thinking we need to have a clear picture of each step and of the success of our product, as well as to have a clear vision what the direction we are going towards is.

“To sell is to convince people” – said in conclusion the guest speaker. The mission of Lekovi Foundation is to inspire young entrepreneurs on their journey to success and the meetings at S.K.I.L.L.S. Program proves it.

The exchange of experience and personal contact are of a great value to the students.ecosystem-for-entrepreneurs
